Call for Papers and Staff
Athletic Insight - The Online Journal of Sport Psychology is seeking papers for its December, 2003 and March, 2004 editions. More specifically we are looking for the following:
Articles focusing on issues related to practice and theory in the field of sport psychology. Articles can be original research, literature reviews of the relevant research, or case studies. Typically, articles range in length from 2,500 to 3,500 words not including references or figures. If this is of interest to you please submit your ideas for approval by e-mail so that duplicate articles are not written.
Commentary on articles that have been already been posted on the site. This should be a critique between 1,000 and 1,500 words. Again, please submit your ideas by e-mail for approval so that we are able to plan accordingly.
We are also seeking staff to fill positions on our growing journal. More specifically, the following positions are available:
- Reader positions - At this time these positions are unpaid but we hope to be able to offer financial compensation in the future. For a more complete description of the duties of these positions, please see the Editorial Mission section on the home page of this site.
- Ediorial Assistant Positions - Again, at this time these position are unpaid but we hope to be able to offer financial compensation in the future. This is a good opportunity for individuals interested in entering the field of scientific publishing or with an interest in participating in the day to day activities of a peer reviewed journal. Individuals selected for this position would work closely with the Editor in the distribution and tracking of submitted manuscripts to staff for review.
